Hello,
I'm Bethany Cagen, a psychotherapist, guide, and midwife of authenticity and connection.
In our work together, we embark on a journey of curiosity, presence, and non-judgmental awareness, whether in the therapy room or outdoors in nature. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy; while I deeply value your story, I aim to guide you into a deeper exploration of your lived experience, listening to both your body and inner voice.
Using a blend of somatic therapy, mindfulness, and ecotherapy, we’ll work together to create new neural pathways that shift limiting beliefs and foster empowerment, self-compassion, and healing. I believe in the organic unfolding of each person’s growth, trusting that by reconnecting to our bodies and inner wisdom, we can cultivate balance, joy, and resilience.
I am a certified Hakomi therapist with expertise in psychodynamic and attachment theory, trauma resolution, somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I also integrate nature as a powerful resource for calm, spaciousness, and support. Additionally, I offer practical tools to help you manage anxiety, overwhelm, and difficult emotions.
I’d love to learn more about you. Reach out, and let’s explore if we’re a good fit to work together.
